Good music starts with the people who make it, and needs time, focus and the right people in the room. We stay close to the artists, songwriters and producers we work with and take care of the business around their music, the deals, the rights, the planning and the money, so they have the time and freedom to make it.
We have worked in music since 2009, from international DJ bookings to managing producers and songwriters whose work appeared on records by Major Lazer, J Balvin and Ellie Goulding. We work internationally, with specialist knowledge of the Benelux and German markets.
Time for songs, studio and stage
We set the direction together and build the plan around it: which songs, which collaborators, which partners and in what order. We negotiate with labels, publishers, agents and brands, and weigh every offer on what it does for creative control, ownership and income over the years, not only on the size of the advance. We make the big decisions together and handle the day-to-day business, so artists can focus on writing, recording and performing.
Songwriter and producer management
Good sessions start with the right people and a clear idea of what the song needs. We put writers and producers together in sessions and co-writes in the Netherlands and abroad, organise writing camps when there is a clear creative reason for one, and pitch the songs to the artists and labels that are looking for them. Splits, credits and fees are agreed before a song leaves the room. From there a song can go to an artist, a label, a publisher or a sync. Publishing and registrations run through The Music Hub, so we follow every song from the session to the royalty statement while the writer keeps writing.
How we work
A small roster and a direct line to us, without layers in between. Roles, fees and splits are agreed early and put in writing, so money does not get in the way in the studio. Independent by choice and connected to the wider industry, we work directly with independent and major labels, publishers and managers in the Netherlands and abroad, and choose the partners and terms that fit each project.
